East Central Railway

 

 

 

                  1.Brief History-The Eastern Railway Zonal Training Centre of RPF  at Dhanbad was shifted to Mokamaghat on 14^th April 2003 and since then RPF Training centreMokamaght is recognized as East Central Railway RPF Training Centre. The RPF Training Centre is functioning for imparting basic course training of constable recruits, ancillary recruits as well as promotion, refresher and other courses from the rank of constable to Sub – Inspectors and other short term training up to the rank of Inspectors. This training centre is also catering the needs of Zonal Railways for imparting basic training to constables.

 

 

       2- Salient Features-

• Mokamaghat is situated in the centre of Bihar state and is 90 KM away from Patna and 107 KM from Zonal HQ East Central Railway Hajipur.
• Mokama is important Railway station on Delhi – Howrah main line, where a number of mail and express trains are having stoppage .
• It is 05 K.M. from Railway station Mokama and is spread in 15.5 acres (approx) land. 
• CRPF Group Centre Mokamaghat is adjacent to RPF Training Centre.
•  Historical ancient educational and tourist centre i.e.  Nalanda and Rajgir are situated at distance of 70 & 90 KM only.
